Thugger shared a video on Instagram teasing a track, which will seemingly make the album, while in the studio with Southside. “Next Friday,” he wrote on the visual. Per internet sources, the record is called “Dope,” so time will tell when the official tracklist and album come out.
Nonetheless, the Atlanta enigma says that the album will be out on Sept. 26. This is the latest update for an LP which was initially teased to come out in May via billboards popping up across the country. Thug has had a rollercoaster experience the last few weeks, between his jail phone calls and interrogation audio leaking, and his interview with Big Bank addressing his fallout with Gunna over the YSL RICO case.
UY Scuti will close a two-year gap from Thug’s 2023 album Business Is Business. Metro Boomin was instrumental in putting that LP together while the YSL leader was in jail for RICO allegations. Business featured Drake, Future, Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, Nate Ruess, and more.
Thug struck a plea deal in October 2024, placing him on 15 years of probation with mandated free concerts and other restrictions. He appeared on Lil Baby’s “Dum, Dumb, and Dumber” alongside Future this past January and shared “Money On Money” with Future this past April. Check out the music video below.
