Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's Special Date Night After Chiefs Game
The "Cruel Summer" singer joined her fiancé Travis Kelce on Sept. 14 at an early 30th birthday celebration for his Kansas City Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes.
As seen in a photo shared by fellow party guest Kane Brown, Taylor—clad in a black-and-ivory plaid Simkhai vest with a matching skirt and dark red platform heels from Gucci—happily posed next to the tight end, as well as the birthday boy and his wife Brittany Mahomes. Kane and his wife Katelyn Brown were also pictured in the snapshot.
"Happy birthday Pat & congrats TT," Kane wrote on Instagram Sept. 15, seemingly alluding to Taylor and Travis' recent engagement. "Thanks for hosting us Brit."
The bash—held at Patrick and Travis' soon-to-be opened steakhouse 1587 Prime—followed the Chiefs' Super Bowl 2025 rematch against the Philadelphia Eagles. Though Taylor was not shown on camera at the game, a source confirmed to E! News that the Grammy winner was in fact in the stands rooting for her man.
Still, Travis did experience somewhat of a particularly tense moment during the second quarter. Appearing to be frustrated with how things were unfolding on the field, Travis was caught on camera throwing his helmet to the ground and shouting as his teammates.
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, who Taylor and Travis credit for setting them up, later clarified that the athlete was simply hyped up by the game.
"Listen, he was trying to get guys fired up and going," he told reporters after the match, per Sports Illustrated. "That’s him. He’s that way every week if you keep an eye on him, so he’s all-in all the time. That’s the way he was today."
And just like his approach to football, Travis also wears his heart on his sleeve when it comes to romance. As the tight end put it, emotions were certainly running high when he proposed with Taylor.
“The palms were definitely sweating,” Travis told Erin Andrews in a Sept. 14 interview with Fox Sports. “I’m an emotional guy, so there were a few tears here and there."
He added, “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her.”
