UWaterloo offers national and international students the Brian Hendley Entrance Scholarship running through the 2021/2022 semester.

Available Subjects:

The Academic Scholarship is available in all subjects, except Management Financial and Accounting, within the Faculty of Arts.

The award consists of $3,000 and is offered to outstanding students entering their first year of any Faculty of Arts program at the University of Waterloo.

Eligibility requirements:

The following requirements must be met by the candidates to be admitted:

  • Former diploma certificates should be held.
  • Academic achievements are taken into consideration when choosing students for the program.

Application process:

  • Candidates must have been admitted to the University of Waterloo as undergraduate students. This scholarship is automatically awarded to students once accepted.
  • Students are required to submit diplomas, transcripts, and a CV along with their application. To be accepted, candidates must meet the admission requirements of the program they have chosen.
  • It is your responsibility to prove your proficiency in English if it is not your native language: IELTS, TOEFL, and any other acceptable documentation.
